First Out Rescue Equipment offers a complete selection of structural firefighting hoods certified to NFPA 1970-2025.  NFPA 1970 certified hoods are designated into two different categories:

1. Hoods for interior structural firefighting included a particulate blocking layer designed to reduce firefighter exposure to cancer causing carcinogens. 

2. Hoods designated for proximity (exterior) firefighting do not include the barrier layer but still provide the required thermal protection.
