The use of a training manikin allows realistic training for first responders without the use of an actual person playing the role of “victim”.  Change the manikin position, access point, or extraction route to create a new challenge for rescue crews without putting a person at risk.  Training manikins also allow rescuers to practice patient lifts & drags, crew communication, equipment placement, and casualty handling.
