The use of a Fire Hydrant Flush Elbow is essential for diffusing water from a hydrant to prevent damge to pavement and landscaping. This light weight elbow/strainer combination is tough enough to take years of abuse. The elbow, basket flange and swivel are all made from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum that has been hard coated to provide extra resistance from abrasion and abuse.
The basket material is made from a stainless steel mesh, providing ample diffusion as the water
leaves elbow. Available in 2-1/2" Rocker Lug Swivel Female (NH threads).
