The Streamlight FireBox and Fire Vulcan are the modern version of the original Big Beam and Big Jim lanterns used “back in the day”. The FireBox latern uses an 8 watt bi-pin bulb and the Fire Vulcan uses a 50,000 hour C4 LED.
