The Fire-Dex Traditional Helmet combines the classic American firefighting helmet style with the state-of-the-art safety and performance features you have come to expect from Fire-Dex . Since 1927, Fire-Dex has believed that firefighters must have headgear which offers maximum protection in the most critical situations, and is comfortable to wear. Features such as a padded nape and headband, a fully adjustable chin strap and ratchet style adjustable head band make Fire-Dex Helmets extremely comfortable to wear. •   Removable/replaceable, 2-Layer black earflap with Nomex® and Cotton
•   3M triple trim trapezoid
•   Leather sweatband and nape
•   Eye Protection: 4” face shield, goggles or Bourkes/Goggles combo
•   Colored throughout fiberglass compression molded shell
•   Fiberglass shell has superior flame and heat resistance
•   Thermal impact cap (insert) is a low density injection mold, 2 pieces that are inseparable
•   Six way overhead suspension straps with crown pad, allowing for a more customized helmet “ride”
•   Three piece headband with ratchet assembly for easy adjustments (sizes 6.5”– 9”)
•   Front headband height adjust to fit all SCBA facemasks
•   Thermal impact cap (insert) is 66% cooler than helmets without an insert
