Gemtor 6 ft. Tower Ladder Bucket Tether
The Gemtor Tower Ladder Bucket Tether is designed to be secured to the tower ladder bucket using a simple girth hitch. While operating inside a bucket, a firefighter can attach the Bucket Tether to their personal harness or ladder belt using the attached snap-hook. Once attached, the firefighter has a greatly reduced risk of falling.
The Tower Ladder Bucket Tether is constructed from 1” polyester sling webbing with a breaking strength of 9,800 lbs. It has a built-in Energy Absorber and an Auto-Locking Aluminum Snap-Hook to attach to the user.
The energy absorber reduces the possibility of serious injury by limiting the forces to less than 900 lbs. should a fall occur. The clear protective covering is designed for easy visual inspection. The Bucket Tether is adjustable in length from 4-feet to 6-feet.
