The Harrington Large two-way Clappered Siamese Valve is an excellent design for supplying one LDH line from two LDH inlets. The clapper valve allows a single inlet line to be attached, and water flow started while the second inlet line is put in service.

This is the perfect valve for use in the “rural hitch” where tank water of a separate apparatus is used to “nurse” the attack engine while the supply engine sets up for drafting operations.
