Grade 70 Chain, also known as "Transport Chain" is used primarily to tie down loads on over-the-road equipment.ﾠ The yellow chromate (gold) plating makes it easily recognizable even from a distance.ﾠ Made from heat-treated carbon steel, it has about 25% more strength than the Grade 40 and Grade 43 High Test chain.ﾠ Grade 70 Chain is NOT for overhead lifting.

Grade 70 Chain is available in two sizes (3/8" or 1/2") and three common lengths (10 ft., 15 ft. or 20 ft.). Some Hook & length combinations are only available by request. Please Contact Us to discuss your needs.

Hook options include Standard Grab Hooks or Twist Lock Hooks. Twist Lock Grab Hooks feature a latch that is simple, quick and easy to use. Once the latch is in place it will not move and prevents accidental release of the chain or inadvertent re-hooking during chain removal.
