Sterling Rope
The Sterling Rescue Figure 8 is larger than a standard figure 8, this helps the device to dissipate heat quicker and is easier to use with larger diameter ropes. The “ears” or “horns” allows for additional friction with the rope when rappelling or lowering heavier loads, and can also be used when tying off.
