Auxiliary OPEN Brake for Petzl I'D® - The auxiliary open brake is designed for I'D self-braking descenders. It may be used to increase the friction in accordance with the weight of the load and the diameter of the rope, or to release the rope at any time.

•    Designed for I’D S, I’D L and I’D EVAC self-braking descenders
•    Used to increase friction in based on weight of the load and diameter of rope
•    Open version may be used to release the rope at any time

Auxiliary CLOSED Brake for Petzl I'D® - The auxiliary closed brake is designed for I'D self-braking descenders.  It increases the friction as required for the load, rope diameter, and provides a constant redirect of the rope.

•    Designed for I’D S, I’D L and I’D EVAC self-braking descenders
•    Used to increase friction in based on weight of the load and diameter of rope
•    Closed version provides a constant redirect of the rope. 
•    Once installed, the rope can not be removed easily from the closed brake
•    Suited for use in rescue operations
•    Weight: 20 g
