Marker-Hybrid Search Rope Kit

Designed specifically for RIT/FAST Teams, durability, quality and toughness are prime considerations with this pack.  The storage bag features durable Cordura Nylon fabric construction with a removable, quick-release shoulder strap. The pack also features “daisy chain” web loops on the shoulder strap and reverse side of pack.

The kit includes 200 feet of Rescue7.5mm TECH EGRESS-Hybrid search rope, complete with 2” rings and nylon marker balls to assist firefighters in determining distance and direction of travel.  The 2” rings allow a solid attachment point of personal search lines or “tag lines” that allow the firefighter a direct attachment point on the main search line.  

The 3/4” nylon balls are placed every 25 ft. and indicate distance traveled (ex. 3 balls = 75 ft.). Using the phrase “Ring, then Bump = Out to the Pump”, a firefighter can identify direction and distance to the exit.
