Hearing Protection

Just like any other piece of personal protective equipment. You have to have it and wear it for it to protect you. Give your ears some love (no not the soft rock kind of love) and protect them for the countless high volume noise encountered on an emergency scene. From running saws to striking the irons, there are plenty of loud sounds on the fireground that can damage your hearing if you don't protect it.
