The Fire-Dex Modern Helmet features a fiberglass compression-molded shell with superior flame and heat resistance, thermal impact cap, ratchet adjustment, and an adjustable headband to fit all SCBA’s. The Fire-Dex Moder Helmet series combines modern styling with the state-of-the-art safety and performance features you have come to expect from Fire-Dex.  Since 1927, Fire-Dex has believed that firefighters must have headgear which offers maximum protection in the most critical situations, and is comfortable to wear. Features such as a padded nape and headband, a fully adjustable chin strap and ratchet style adjustable head band make Fire-Dex Helmets extremely comfortable to wear. The Fire-Dex Modern helmets are SEI Certified to meet or exceed NFPA 1971, current edition.
