Shipping & Returns
First Out Rescue Equipment wants to ensure that your products arrive on time and in good shape. To that end we use UPS Ground delivery, Fed Ex Ground and DHL for most orders or packages. This requires a physical street address, not a PO Box. Smaller packages may be sent via US Mail. Most packages are sent using a tracking or delivery confirmation method. Once your package is shipped you will receive an email with the appropriate tracking information.
If you need your package sooner than our standard delivery (usually 5-7 business days), you can choose Next Day, or 2 Day Service from UPS, Fed Ex and DHL. Orders for in-stock items with Express Shipping are typically shipped the same day as long as the order is placed by 3pm (EST) Monday through Friday. You can choose your shipping method on the Final Purchase Approval page upon checkout. Next Day Saturday delivery is $24.99 extra. Please specify in the "Comments" section of the checkout page if you need this service and call to confirm that this is available in your area. Please note that Express Shipping durations do not include the pickup date. For example, if you place an order for an in-stock item on Thursday by 3pm and request 2 Day Shipping, you should expect your item on Monday the 2nd business day after you placed the order. Although we have office hours on Saturday packages are not picked up by carriers until the following business day.
First Out Rescue Equipment strives to maintain a large inventory to ensure quick delivery; however, you can expect an extended delivery date when merchandise ships directly from the manufacturer or requires personalization. One other delivery exception is if a product is on backorder from the manufacturer. We will do our best to quickly notify you of any shipping delays.
Shipping to Canada -
We do not handle any International orders except for Canada. We primarily use US Mail for those packages and delivery time averages 7-10 business days. Extra shipping charges may incur. We will contact you for approval before the items are shipped. We will not be responsible for any custom duties or fees.
Overseas Military Bases -
Overseas Military Base orders are simple. The best way is to use U.S. Priority Mail. This method travels well and has been successful with our APO and FPO addresses.
Returning and Exchanging Items by Mail -
All returns must be made within 30 day of your original purchase. Returned merchandise must be received in its original packaging with no evidence of use. After your merchandise is returned and examined you will receive a full refund for the product. Shipping costs will not be refunded. If you purchased with a credit card you will receive credit back to the original card. If you paid with a check or money order you will receive reimbursement by check within 15 days of receipt of the returned merchandise. If your product is not found to be in its original condition you may be subject to a restocking fee. We will notify you of this upon receipt of the merchandise.
If you return a product for a size and/or style exchange, you are responsible to pay the shipping fee to return the product to First Out Rescue Equipment. You will then be charged to re-ship the new product.
To return merchandise, use the same packaging. Please include a copy of your packing slip along with our (Return Form).
WE SUGGEST SHIPPING YOUR RETURN VIA A TRACKABLE METHOD. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR INSURING ITEMS THAT ARE SENT BACK TO US AS WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST ITEMS.

Important Note on Boot Returns
Boots may be returned if upon receipt of your order you determine the sizing is incorrect. In no way will we accept return of boots due to a sizing problem if they have been used. Your sizing decision and the acceptance of your boots must happen before you put them in service. Boots returned with any evidence of use will be returned to you and credit denied. This is a simple issue - Make sure your boots fit before they go in service!
Important Note on Helmet Returns
Helmets may be returned if upon receipt of your order the helmet is not what you expected or does not fit properly. You must make this decision before your put your helmet into service, install decals, mark your name on the helmet, or make any other alterations to the helmet. Do not remove any protective coverings from the faceshield, goggles or bourke flip eye-shields until you decide on keeping the helmet. Helmets returned with any evidence of use, including sweat stains on the liner will be returned to you and credit denied. Customized leather helmets are un-returnable.
Please Note: If you return boots or a helmet for a size and/or style exchange, you are responsible to pay the shipping fee to return the product to the First Out Rescue. You will then be charged to re-ship the new product.
